Dominic McNamara, Limerick and Clare, Irish Artist

Dominic Mc namara is an artist from Co. Clare. Ireland

I was Born and raised in Limerick city, Ireland many many years ago :). Now living in Co. Clare with my lovely wife Maria, and we have two grown up kids/adults living not to far from us with a family of there own, and last but not least there is Cat (my daughter couldn't think of another name for her) such a cute kitty, we would be lost with out her. For the most part I am a self taught Artist, I started painting when I was very young, I have no formal training, I don't know all the technical terms or jargon, But I love doing what I do.

I gave up painting around the late 70s (to work for a living) I worked with my wife for many years French polishing and restoring antique furniture and later went into restoring period houses and buildings, until 2008 when fate intervened and took me away from the working environment and returned me to where I am now. So I'm not sure If I can officially call myself a fully qualified Artist, but I'm trying, and hoping that someday I may be looked upon as an Artist. I hope if you are having a look at what I do, that you enjoy what you see, and if you have any questions, I would love to hear from you.
